Finally, a bolt-in TRUE dual-pass aluminum radiator for your modern LSX or LTX conversion that has everything setup properly for a modern high tech engine, including a steam vent port.

Note: This radiator will drop into all 1973 - 1988 Chevy Trucks that use the 19" tall radiator (OEM heights vary from 18-1/2" to 18-3/4").

There is also a taller version of this radiator used in the year trucks that is 21" tall, more commonly found in 3/4 ton trucks. This radiator will not fit those trucks - give us a call to discuss your options for your truck.

For ease of plumbing to your LSX/LTX engine, both hose connections of this radiator on the passenger side. As an added bonus, this radiator is a dual-pass radiator, meaning the coolant makes two passes through the radiator, which improves cooling effectiveness by over 20%.

It also has a proper steam vent port, which allows for one of the best features of these motors. The Dumb Dumb method of installing the steam vent port on a LSX motor is to just plumb it directly into the water pump, which is a HUGE mistake. 

You see, the steam vent on a LSX or LTX motor is one of the features of these motors that allow us to run INSANE amounts of compression or boost on pump gas. Compared to their stone age predecessors, the small block and big block Chevy.
