ECP 1959 - 1968 ECP Chevy Impala Aluminum Radiator - Notched For Aftermarket Steering Box Upgrades
Description:
Finally after lots of requests, we've made this a production unit. This radiator is for the 1959 - 1968 era Impalas with the large aftermarket steering box upgrade. While still maintaining a large plate transmission cooler.
It has the upper hose on the drivers side like used on the later 63+ Impalas. On cars with the upper hose on the passenger side, you will need to do a hose and thermostat housing swap to use this model.
Like all of our radiators, it's a 2-row core made with big ass tubes. Not a Chinese gimmick 3-row or super duper gimmick 4-row radiator.
It's time to put the Holly Hobby 3 row radiator onto something it's better suited for. Such as your lawn mower, where will still likely struggle to keep a 4 horsepower Briggs and Stratton cool.
This radiator will subdue the cooling problems of your big block or small block up to 550 horsepower.
Here's why it's the perfect match for your Impala:
- Massive 1.0" cooling tubes: More efficient than the smaller tubes found in most 3-row radiators, ensuring maximum cooling for your high-performance engine.
- Notched for the massive aftermarket steering box upgrades on the Impalas.
- Heavy-duty plate aluminum transmission cooler: No wimpy concentric coolers here! This one's built to handle the power you're putting down.
- Direct-fit installation: Bolts right in place of your original radiator with 4-row mounts. No modifications needed, so you can get back to cruising in no time. Note this will not drop into trucks with 3-row OEM mounts, you will need to change the mounts to 4-row.
- Die-formed aluminum tanks: Durable and leak-free, for years of worry-free performance.
- Lifetime warranty: Drive with confidence knowing you're covered.
Stop sweating over overheating.
Upgrade to a radiator that can handle the heat of your Impala on cruise nights, sitting still in traffic with the A/C blasting.
P.S. Don't be fooled by cheap ratchet imitations. Our radiators are built with the same technology used by professional racing teams – because winning races (and looking good doing it) requires superior cooling performance. Not marketing magic tricks.
